Agape English School

Agape English School, established by Maharashtra Village Ministries in June 2007, is located in Chiroli village, Taluka Mul, District Chandrapur, near Pomburna Road. It was inaugurated by the late School Chairman, Mr. I.A. Shah, with a vision to provide quality education for children in remote areas and to share God’s love through these young learners. After thoughtful consideration, the school was named “Agape,” symbolizing love and a commitment to empowering rural children with skills to thrive in a competitive world.
Beginning with 35 students in Pre-Primary classes, the
school gained government recognition in 2009, and by 2015, classes extended up to the 5th grade. However, in 2019, Agape English School faced setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic and challenges with infrastructure. Restoring the school with improved facilities is a key goal for the Founder General Secretary, who envisions a renewed and strengthened foundation for Agape’s future.

Maharashtra Village Ministries (MVM) began in the late 1970s with a few seminary students burdened for rural Maharashtra. Rooted in prayer and the Gospel, it grew into a lifelong mission bringing hope to remote villages.
